Bellow: A Sweet & Relaxed Handwritten Font for Casual Branding Projects

Testing Bellow Across Brand Touchpoints

• Logo Design: I used Bellow for the bakery’s primary logo and found it worked best when paired with a clean sans serif for the tagline. It gave the logo a balanced feel—casual but not sloppy, and warm without being cutesy.
• Packaging Mockup: On a mockup of custom cookie boxes, Bellow looked great on product labels and ingredient tags. Its relaxed nature helped the packaging feel more personal and artisanal.
• Business Card: At small print sizes, Bellow started to lose some clarity. I ended up using it only for the business name, with a more legible sans serif for contact info.
• Website Header: As a webfont, Bellow loaded smoothly and looked clean on both desktop and mobile. It worked well in hero sections and quote blocks but wasn’t ideal for long-form content.
